You told us things about your work. Here is exactly what happens to them.

This page is written to be read, not to be survived. If anything below is unclear, that is our failure and we want to hear about it.

The short version

Your answers are the product's only input

No résumé is required, no profile is scraped, and nothing is pulled in behind your back.

Nothing is visible to anyone by default

No feed, no recruiter marketplace. Sharing happens only through a link you create and can revoke.

AI drafts your Read, and we say so

Your content is never used to train any model. There is no setting for this, because there is no version of it we offer.

We never sell your data

Not to employers, not to advertisers, not to data brokers. There is no version of this business that includes that.

Deletion runs within 24 hours of the window closing

You get 48 hours to change your mind. After that your transcript, Read, and drafts go, and every link you issued stops working. A PDF someone already downloaded is the one thing we cannot reach.

You can take it with you

Export your transcript and Read at any time, in a format that does not need us to open it.

The short version is a summary, not a substitute. The sections below are what governs.

01

What we collect

Four things, and nothing beyond what the product needs to work.

What
Why it exists
Your conversation answers
They are the entire basis of your Read. Without them there is no product.
Your Read and its drafts
So you can return, revise, and export it rather than starting over.
Account email
To sign you in and to send the small number of messages you have asked for.
Basic usage events
Which screens were reached and where the conversation was abandoned, so we can fix what is broken.
02

What we do not collect

Stated as clearly as the list above, because absence is the part people are usually not told about.

  • No résumé upload is required. You may paste anything you want into an answer, but we never ask for the document and never parse one in the background.
  • No contact scraping. We do not read your address book, your inbox, or your connections.
  • No advertising or cross-site tracking. There are no ad pixels, no data brokers, and no third-party trackers on prohumn.com.
  • No special-category profiling. We do not infer or store health, religion, politics, sexuality, or ethnicity, and we do not want those in your answers.
03

How AI processes what you say

The conversation is guided by a large language model, and the first version of your Read is drafted by one. We say so here, on the page, and inside the product, because a product that hides that is asking you to trust something you cannot see.

Your answers are sent to our model provider solely to generate the questions and the Read, under a contract that forbids using your content to train their models. We do not train any model on your conversation, your Read, or your edits. Not by default, not by setting, not later — there is no mechanism in the product to turn it on, because we do not offer it.

Any interpretation, including ours, is incomplete. That is why the Read is a draft you correct rather than a verdict you receive.

04

Who can see your Read

By default, only you. There is no feed, no directory, no recruiter marketplace, and no default visibility to any other user or company.

  • Private links. You may generate a link and send it to whoever you choose. It expires in 30 days, you can revoke it at any moment, and you can see when it was opened.
  • PDF export. Once a file leaves your device it is outside our control. That is the one part of this we cannot promise anything about.
  • We never sell it. Your Read is not a product we sell, license, or hand to advertisers, data brokers, or employers.
05

The companies we rely on

We use a small number of vendors to run the service. Each is bound by contract to process your data only on our instructions, and none is permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Vendor role
What it touches
Model provider
Conversation answers and Read drafts, at the moment of generation. No training on your content.
Hosting and database
Encrypted storage of your account, transcript, and Read.
Payment processor
Your billing details. We never see or store a full card number.
Transactional email
Your email address, to deliver sign-in and account messages.
06

How long we keep it, and how deletion works

Ask us to delete your account and we queue it, then give you 48 hours to change your mind. Nothing is removed during that window, and cancelling it puts everything back. Any active subscription is cancelled the moment you ask, not when the window closes.

Once the window closes, deletion runs and you are gone from our live systems. Backups are a different mechanism and we will not pretend otherwise: they are encrypted point-in-time snapshots that cannot be edited to remove one person, and they age out on a fixed cycle. So until they age out, a copy of your data still exists in them. We restore from backup only to recover from a serious failure. Separately, completed sessions are cleared after 90 days whether or not you ask — the Read remains, the conversation behind it does not.

Deleting your transcript does not delete your Read. The Read stays; it simply loses the ability to show you which answer a line came from. Deleting your account removes both, along with every private link you issued, which stops working at once.

The 48-hour window is the only hold we choose. There is no archived copy we quietly retain for analytics, and nothing is kept past it in any system we can edit.

07

Your rights over this data

Depending on where you live these are legal rights; we extend all of them to everyone regardless, because splitting them by geography would be a choice about who deserves them.

  • Access and export. Download your transcript and Read at any time, in a format you can read without us.
  • Correction. Edit any line of your Read in the product. Corrections propagate to everything drafted from it.
  • Deletion. One control in your account, no conversation with support required.
  • Objection and restriction. Email us and we will stop the specific processing you name, or tell you plainly why we cannot and what your options are.
  • Complaint. You can raise a complaint with your local data protection authority. We would rather you told us first, but the right is yours to use however you choose.
08

Security, stated without theater

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access by our own staff is role-limited, logged, and used for support and debugging only, not for reading Reads out of curiosity.

No system is unbreachable, and any company telling you otherwise is selling confidence rather than describing controls. If a breach affects your data we will tell you what happened, what was exposed, and when. That notice goes out within 72 hours of our confirming it, and we do not wait for a communications plan first.

09

Cookies, age, transfers, and changes

The remaining items, none of which needs a section of its own.

  • Cookies. Strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and security, plus first-party analytics we run ourselves. No advertising cookies, so there is no consent banner to dismiss.
  • Age. ProHumn is for working adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
  • International transfers. Our vendors may process data outside your country. Transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent lawful mechanism.
  • Changes to this page. If we make a material change we will email you before it takes effect and keep the previous version available. Quiet edits to a privacy page are a tell, and we would rather not be that company.

Exercising any of this

Export it, correct it, or delete all of it, from inside your account.

No support ticket, no retention offer, no exit survey standing between you and the delete button. Email works too if you prefer.
